Black & tan, short coat, 3-year-old spayed GSD bitch.

Luna is a lovely, affectionate family dog who has been much loved. She is a smart black & gold, short-coated spayed female GSD who is 3 years of age and has been in the same home since she was a puppy.
She is a healthy dog who has been well cared for and is in great condition, microchipped, vaccinated & wormed to date.
She previously lived in a quiet family home with a mature couple and has not lived with children, so we would be looking for an adult only home ideally.
Due to unfortunate circumstances and a change in the owner’s health & mobility, she is getting little exercise. So in recent times she has little exposure to other dogs and will bark at small dogs outside the home especially. She is also anxious around busy traffic and will bark and lunge if busy traffic is close by, so training will be needed in this area, and ideally a more rural home is sought. We feel with more exercise and exposure generally, we feel this behavior will improve.
She does pull on the lead initially but will focus with treats and is trained to obey basic commands (sit, stay, and paw) and enjoys playing with her ball. She is fully house trained, crate trained & travels well.
She has no known health issues, food allergies, or intolerances and has been much loved and well cared for by her owners.
Has not lived with cats previously and, due to living in a fairly urban environment, has had little exposure to other livestock, so this would need to be managed accordingly.
The rehoming is due to no fault of her own and only due to the owner’s change in health and her needs not being met in terms of exercise and training.
Please note we will be looking to rehome Luna as an only dog.
