Marnie re-homed

Marnie 28/03/2021
Meet Marnie, Marnie was rehomed at 6 months old and returned to rescue last September. Marnie went to foster in November. While in foster she has been fully vaccinated and spayed, and she is now ready to find a new home. This is what her fosters have said about her.
Marnie was shy and timid when she first arrived and would jump at noises however after 2 months of fostering Marnie we can say she is a really lovely 3-and-a-half-year-old. She enjoys attention and cuddles from the whole family, walks well on the lead but finds the town stressful (she will try to pass through it as fast as she can) and needs more exposure.
Marnie travels well in the car and can also be left at home for a few hours without issue (she generally just sleeps while we are out). Marnie doesn’t chew and is house-trained. She is great with other dogs and plays with ours frequently enjoying being chased, tug toys and of course things that squeak.
When walking, Marnie shows no interest in livestock and she is so gentle with all of us including the children. Recall is not her strongest and we have been working to improve this but further work will be needed, she is well-behaved indoors and understands some basic commands.
Marnie will eat medication from your hand, likes a brush and if the water is warm a bath is no problem…oh and did we say she loves a cuddle…Marnie would love a family home where there are lots of cuddles and attention available, she is very much a people dog. Marnie did live with a cat previously so may tolerate a cat with a slow introduction. Marnie is currently in foster in Milton Damerel near Holsworthy North Devon.
